WOYWW #284

Hello Wednesday!!!
Thank you Julia for hosting yet another fun week of visiting - all info as per the tab at the top.

Well, the Christmas cards got put to one side ..... the stamps are beautiful but I remain a very poor stamper!!!
Now I have new dies to play with .....
I cut a load of pink paper, and then tried to make some flowers .....

I am going to enjoy playing with these dies but ...... I have to use up all these 'bits' first!!!

I hope I can visit a few more desks this week, last week ran away with me before I could get round to everyone - sorry, will try harder!!!
Did I mention that PJ has bought a new pond base?  It's much larger and will need two of us to clear the land and dig holes for it!!!!!!

Hope to see you later ......

  1. Ah. I feel your 'poor stamper' pain. I buy them and then am constantly rubbish too. :)

The pond sounds a lot of hard work! But worth it :)

  2. Hi Christine, wish I could come and help you with the stamps it's probably a ver ysimple problem which could be sorted. I hate it when people get frustrated because things are'nt doing what they expect. It might be the type of ink you are using or even the paper. Have a great week and happy crafting, Angela x 39

  3. Love those flowers! Stamping does depend on so many things - I forgot to use my magazine pad the other day and got a really patchy image! Have a good week, Chrisx

  4. my back is aching at the thought of the digging for the pond... Persevere with your stamping!! enjoy using up the scraps though! Helen 3

  5. Oh the flowers are so pretty. What problems do you have with your stamps? A new pound sounds like a lot of work ahead. Anne x #38

  6. pretty die cuts.
    good luck with the digging!
    Happy Thursday! (sorry I'm late)

  7. Hi - better late than never. I know what you mean about stamping. I find I improve (a bit) the more I do. I think the confidence grows, and then the hand becomes more steady. I love the ease with which the lovelies on TV craft shows do it, but then, I suppose they're doing it all the time. Keep trying, though - never say die (yes, I know it't a terrible pun). We've had a pond for 4 years now, and I love it. Saw my first frog in it this summer. Happy crafting, Chris # 7

  8. I know what you mean by stamping. I'm not very good either. I don't stamp directly on the card but on a topper, that way, if the image is not good enough I just do another one. I won't have wasted my card....
    Have a good week,
Sorry I’m late but I take my time going through them all. (I enjoy reading all the blogs and look at the photos)

  9. Hi Chris, just keep practising, thats all it really comes down to. Use scrap paper, so you don't feel you're wasting 'good' stuff. Good luck with the pond, they make so much difference to a garden. Have a great week, hugs, Shaz #20

I make my cards for sheer pleasure so thank you for taking the time to comment.
