This is Wednesday and that means there are a large group of people who are exposing, flaunting, displaying, boasting, brandishing, broadcasting, flashing, flourishing, parading, revealing, show and telling, showcasing - handy owning a Thesaurus! - their work desks.
I blame that Julia for all this, I led a quiet life until I alighted on her blog one Wednesday ......................and the rest is history.
Following on from last week, and all your wonderful comments for which I thank you and apologise if I did not get back to you ....................... one found desk, one found heat gun, lots of embossing practise!!!!
Your desk looks interesting Christine & fun . Happy woyww Jill #26
ReplyDeleteI like what your practicing. happy crafting #6
ReplyDeleteI hadn't embossed for ages and had forgotten what fun it was...I can see you had fun. The problem with WOYWW is that the weeks seem to become shorter ...have you found this? ....or does time just speed up ???? ...xx58
ReplyDeleteI so agree .......I suppose that it just takes longer to do things, I know the floor has moved further away when I drop things!!!! lol
DeleteI have embossed some more and added a few ATCs......
looks like you are having a lot of fun with your heat embossing
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW #203 and thank you for sharing your desk with us today

Your embossing looks GREAT! I think that you have mastered it very well!! I haven't done any embossing but seriously thinking that I will try it on one of my art journaling pages! I bought a heat gun a couple of weeks ago and I am sooooo glad I did as I can do an art journal page in half the time now that I can dry it quickly :-). Thanks for showing and happy WOYWW.

Practice makes perfect! It looks great from here - doesn't the white look good on the brown paper. Don't forget to practice with the gliter and mica containing powders..they are tricky to tell if they've 'gone', for sure!
ReplyDeleteGreat fun embossing, looks like your making your own personal wrapping paper. Hugs Mo x #29
ReplyDeleteTee hee, I love a good word or ten, I do! My Roget's Thesaurus is a treasured possession... Your desk looks interesting, and I'm intrigued to see what you do with it. Time constraints mean I’m Weekend-WOYWW-ing, but hope you’ve had a good one! Deb # 125
