WOYWW #330

This is WOYWWednesday - checkout the tab at the top of the page for further info - and our thanks go to Julia for hosting again.

You will be pleased to know that I am back home safely and I am still clearing and sorting.  The Craft Room is now 'finished' - well you know how it is, today tidy and then messy tomorrow....

BUT
the good news is that I have found all my knitting needles, and also my teddy bear wools all packed away safely (somewhere safe!!) in a blue crate right at the bottom of a pile ...... wouldn't you know.

So I have two completed teddies, one bag with a work in progress and then my current fabric bag with two more teddies to be made up!

Just in case you wondered about my needles - the larger bag is the one I was looking for, the smaller one contains my replacement needles ...... thanks to Age UK Solihull!!!

One happy bunny is now living here!!!!

What does the Good Book say?  Seek and you shall find ......

Sorry I only visited a few of you last week, such a late entry is short on time ...... but it is good to be home!!!

Have fun!

  1. Glad you are managing to sort your stuff, Christine, and hope you manage to find anything that's still missing! Thank you for your lovely comment, and I'm not sure what the next colour will be! I am highly delighted to be feeling better at last, and the end of my chemo is now in sight. I am so optimistic about the future.

    Happy WOYWW,

  3. Oh you have just a few needles now, don't you? How good that they are found so you can stop wondering where on earth they got to. Cute wee teddies too so I can see why you are happy to have found them and get back to work on them. Thanks for the visit earlier. Until now all I ever put in the card in a box is flowers or butterflies. I'm branching out now! I keep saying that they are easy to make so after I teach this class we'll see if those folks agree. I hope so! Judy #49

  8. Doesn't feel great to have you craft room finished? Now that you've found your bag of needles and wool we know you will be knitting up a storm. We all lose stuff, and I will admit that it happens to me because I simply have too much stuff (even after clearing out). Glad you are back home. Enjoy your time knitting.

  9. Yay, it's good to see you back. And in a sorting mood too...I do love a good sort out, I find it very satisfying. And look what turned up, lovely knitting stash...it made me laugh when you described the 'safe place'!! I do that all the time and forget where I've put stuff, lol!!

  12. Oh what gorgeous teddies, Christine. Good thing you managed to locate the needles if you are planning on making more lovely bears. That is an awful lot of knitting needles, you must have been very frustrated thinking you had lost all of those.
Thanks for visiting my blog and your lovely comments, twisted Easel cards are actually very simple, this is the page I used for information before embarking on the first one.http://www.card-making-magic.com/doubletwistedeasel.html.
The second card I made without any referral to the page.
