WOYWW #363

Well, it's all change here while our usual Hostess takes time out for herself (enjoy!) and then gets a 'seeing to' .... which will be successful of course, why? Because we say so!!
Love you Julia.
The Party is now being held over at Lunch Lady Jan's for a few weeks so just ignore any links if you visit the tab at the top of the page ...... the info is the same but the link is now here.  You will receive a great welcome over there and lots of info, laughs, well I nevers etc.
As for me?

Well, here's the desk ....
Just as I left it on Monday night.
And here's the telling of it ......

I have had a very busy week as I have started the garden tidy up after the Chicken Ranch has been finished.  Yeah!!!!

We took advantage of the good weather to get out into the gardens ..... yes, there supposed to be an S there!
In one week ...
.. spent time at the Client's garden, at the Steam Train garden and then our own garden.  Shame it is raining today because I was just getting into the habit of spending all day outside!!
On top of all that I made my first cake in ages ..... trying out a new 'cake tin' with which I am very pleased - I might tell you the story on my Recollections Blog!

I visited the Doctors - I just wanted a short pop-in but  ..... I am up the hospital today for an XRay .....

Then I remembered that Little Soldier turns one this week so a card was the order of the day .... then I didn't like it so tried to re-do it.... looks a bit better but I think my brain was somewhere else!
No change there then.

So yesterday, I shut the craftroom door and went out celebrating with Little Soldier et al.

Now I am going to spend the day after the celbrations just playing around with ..... guess who!!!

You all have a good week and please forgive me if I don't get round to visit many of you.
Updated to add that I have made several ATCs for the birthday swap so if you are interested in swapping please drop me a mail.

  1. Thank you for the support Christine, it's much appreciated 😃💖. I can't believe that your GS is one, blimey where did that year go??!
I do hope you're ok, am a bit worried that you're having an X-ray, sending a hug. Don't overdo things with the gardenS, though I'd be quite interested to see a pic of the steam train one, having two train mad men in my life!!

  2. What lovely photos of the little soldier, Christine - the look of fascination on his face at the aquarium is wonderful! have a great time playing. Yes, jungle clearance does take time, doesn't it? That's how our garden feels this spring - I didn't get any done in the autumn as John was so ill - so it's all go now. Today was to be lawn day.... and guess what... it's raining! Oh well, meadows are good, aren't they?!
    Take care. God bless.

  3. Ooh yes would love to see the steam train garden!! Like Margaret I really wanted to cut the grass today (too tired yesterday, now I'm kicking myself) as we've been away and it has really shot up. Thankfully we've had a couple of good 'goes' at it and it's looking relatively pristine, just need more sunny days so I can sit in it and read - my favourite summer pastime. Have a good 'play'!! 5. Hi Christine, what a lovely pic of your Grandson. Trust me, the time flies and they are not like that for long. It seems like a couple of years since ours was born, but he's doing his GCSE's this year, and his Dad, my son, is now in his 40's!Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #2 xxx

  9. Yes, I heard that you had some really nice weather last week in the UK. It's nice to potter around in the garden on a nice day.
Little Soldier is one already! My, time flies!
What's this about an X-ray? Is everything OK?
Your cake looks yummy! That new tin is great! I've just noticed it has Happy Birthday on it....
    Happy WOYWW,

  10. Hi Christine, pleased you found the sewing machine stuff useful. I wasn't sure if someone would think me a bit sad Lol! If you have one of these old girls it's a useful place to visit. Great photos, it's quite annoying that the weather can't make it's mind up. However! back to the crafty stuff lol! Hope you have a great woyww and a happy crafty week too, Angela x 20
