WOYWW #222

I am busy making card kits.  I found them while 'tidying up' so I thought that I had better use them, they must be well past their 'sell by' date.  I think my desk looks like a 'proper' crafter's desk.

The kit comes with the instructions on an A4 page so it is easily copied, all the papers and embellishments needed.

Ready to start the deign...............

The papers are cut and folded, glued into position round the circle.  The outer rind is ready to glue in place.

I don't need the sentiment that is provided so I will only use the corner peel offs.

There was enough papers left over to almost make another card, so I attached a doiley and then tried to make a pattern.  Almost good!  Notice holograph peel off corners!!!

Off to visit other desks now, managed to make 26 desk visits last  week, beating my previous 22!
It's all that Julia's fault, doncha  just love her ?!?!?!?!

  11. I love card kits and have oodles of them stashed all over my room. I never want to finish them off so I tend to make one or two cards from them and then set them aside. It is silly but I am always sorry to see them go... yet I'm always in a tizzy about the lack of space. I guess I should bite the bullet and dedicate some time to actually doing them. I had a laugh at the use them before the sell by date. Oh my! I'm afraid many of mine has expired. EEK!

  16. Super card, looks a bit like iris folding with a difference. Great you could make a 2nd one too. Still recovering, sore and coughing but getting better and have lost some much needed weight - hurrah. Thanks for the visit BJ#16

  17. What beautiful cards!!

I have made myself come home from my card classes and immediately make up all the left over kits before I put away the supplies needed to create them.

    Have a wonderful day!

  19. It's great to 'find' crafty things isn't it? Love what you have made here! Sorry to hear that you no longer get a good sunset - I'll post some more of mine sometime - hubby thinks I'm mad when I suddenly grab my camera and rush outside but there's nothing like a good sunset!! Thanks for visiting, Chris
