WOYWW #282

I shall delight a lot of folks this cold, dull morning ...... I have succumbed to making Christmas cards!
I don't usually start until after Bonfire Night but, you see, I bought these stamps ready.... and well ..... you have to try them out to see if they work doncha!

You can see them at the side of my photo, still in the wrapper - I started sorting out my 'Christmas' box and then remembered ..... It's 'What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday' and I don't want to pass.  Visitors please note all the details are on the WOYWW tab at the top of the page.
Thank you Julia for hosting and enabling this weekly meet up between friends.
That's it then .... off to visit a few desks and then start the really hard work of trying out my new stamps, using up stash bits, testing out the old stamps, hoping the inkpads haven't dried out ...... such hard work!!!

  1. Well, I hope your ink pads haven't dried up otherwise your new stamps will remain unused! I like that selection of stamps you've shown there, bet they'll be really useful!

  2. Morning Christine, I have those stamps too, look forward to seeing how you use them. Fo hope the ink pads haven't dried up, otherwise you will have to make another visit to the 'goodie' shop, won't that be a shame!
Thanks for dropping by my desk, yes I was rather pleased with the arch card.

  3. I'm the same. No seasonal cards get started until after November 5th. The only exception is class planning, which I have to do a little in advance of that date. Thanks for stopping by today x

  4. Hi Christine, my Christmas card making has hit a standstill at the moment, although at least I am about half way with what I need to do. Normally I am with you, and don't start till at least mid November- I just can't feel Christmassy till then, lol. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #14 xxx

  6. Those Christmas stamps and the words behind are lovely, Christine. Which company make them? I confess to having been busy with our Christmas cards - and I'm almost there... just all the presents to sort now...
    Take care. God bless.

Especially love the ones on vellum and the peel off. I think some crafty folks look down their noses at peel offs but they are great in the right place :D

  13. Those are beautiful stamps. Well done for finding those. I find it difficult to find stamps that show the real meaning of Christmas. The stain glass window thingy is lovely too. Hope you will share some of your finished cards. We'd love to see.
