WOYWW #292

Weeelll  hello!  *blush*  *blush*

It would seem that you have caught me 'mid-cut' as it were.....

I am making my card using last month's sketch (one of the swaps we have in my card swapping yahoo group).
I don't make enough use of all the free sketches given out on the web and I intend to change that in 2015.  I don't make resolutions but, if an intention continues for 12 months or so, then it has to be done  - now or never!!!

So here is my desk, quite tidy and yet ......   so it will stay now until Friday as I am off to my Art Class today and visiting a country market tomorrow so Friday is the aim ...... maybe Saturday .... I have just remembered, on Friday Newson is coming round to put all our boxes (you know which ones!) back in the loft .....

Have a good week WOYWWers, my thanks to Julia for hosting and all details can be found on the tab at the top of the page.

BTW - The shop was shut last week but we had a lovely day travelling round the English countryside in the sunshine.

  1. Very interesting desk! I love the colors here and your Grand Calibur making quick work of die cuts!

  2. Hiya Christine - thanks for popping by my blog last week & sorry it has taken me so long to reply! Can't wait to see what you do with all those die-cuts! Have I spotted you are from Birmingham? I am not a million miles away from there (in Solihull). Happy New Year & Happy WOYWW'ing! Love Debbie x

  3. Hi Christine! Making use of the free stuff available on the internet makes sense! I've never followed sketches myself, but I guess it gives you direction, while leaving enough room for your own creativity! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #27

  4. I enjoy using sketches and have a couple sites I try to follow on a regular basis. Your table looks so nice and busy! Happy WOYWW!

  6. Every time I see a die cutting machine I wish I had one. I bet they save so much time and make great cards and such. Yours looks great, and I can see you are using it a lot. I've heard there are lots of sketches on the internet, so I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Happy belated New Year and happy WOYWW from # 2.

  7. Good Luck with your intentions! Look forward to seeing what you do! Happy New Year, Chrisx 43

  8. Looks like you are being very industrious there. I love my Grand Calibur but still tend to still reach for my beloved cuttlebug most of the time..old habits.

  9. I like seeing what's on your it's those paisley papers that caught my eye. I've got a soft spot for paisley, it's a great pattern. Thanks for dropping by :-)

  12. Well how stupid of me to forget you were at the crop last May ... so sorry ... think the pink hair confused me! xXx

  13. How fun!! I think we all have a mile long list of "want to do's", lol! Good luck!

    Happy Crafting!

  14. Card sketches are so useful..and I often forget them. I find they get me to a good place to start and then I wander off on my own tangent..a very pleasing way to work, I hope you enjoy them!

  15. I love a sketch when inspiration is slow to come. (I use them for scrapbooking). Your card-in-the-making looks good already. Do show us the finished card, won't you.
    Have a great week,

  16. Thanks for visiting - sometimes there are so many good things online it is hard to know what to do first ! Have fun with your sketch resolution ! Ali #21

  17. Love your busy desk! I don't have a die- cutting machine myself, some days I feel I would need one ( and try to remember I'm not buying new stash...) other days I feel fine not having one ( and thinking it wouldn't involve just the machine, but also all the dies...) Happy crafting! I'm going through these posts so slowly you should be at the desk any minute now :)

  18. We actually have a productive desk in motion and not tidied up for the photo shot. Thanks for sharing all your interesting stuff on it. I hope you have a wonderful crafty week.

    Hugs Eliza & Yoda 78

  19. That looks a busy desk there Christine. Happy New Year to you.
I need to put the borders on my quilt then I will share.

I make my cards for sheer pleasure so thank you for taking the time to comment.
