WOYWW #370

Thanks to Jan for hosting again - amidst everything else.
What's it all about?   Check out the tab at the top of this post ......
My desk this week has my latest ideas for cards and ATCs.
I have just finished ATCs (can be found here) for a Challenge and now have two of the images printed out ready to make a card.  My humble paintsets can also be seen - nothing posh round here ...... left over kids paints although I do have tubes of paints waiting in the wings, as it were.  I am hoping to make some feminine Steampunk ATCs later, so the digis for those are also printed out .... to be coloured in shades of pink and purple .....
At the top left there are also some cards waiting for the July birthdays' posting dates.

I have some 'stackers' to give away but, unfortunately, cannot afford the postage (they weigh 90grams without stamps etc.).  I have a PayPal account so if you are interested in having a few let me know and we can see what we can sort out.  They have been hanging around for a couple of years now and we really need the space .... if we can meet up somewhere convenient to us both (in England) then they will be totally free!!!  Well, maybe the price of a cup of coffee!

That's it then, hope to get some visiting in before the little soldier arrives, see you later .....
UPDATE

After our meal last night we found the Art Shop in town was still open so managed to pick up a few really neat brushes ....... they have a sale on at the mo ...... can't wait to start painting ...... 'tomorrow, tomorrow' she sings to herself!

  1. Oh, I like the sound of a feminine steampunk ATC, that'll make a change from the normal grunge colours! I like your paint palette, doesn't matter what you use as long as you have fun creating. Those brushes were a good buy - I recognise a kindred spirit there though, if I buy some new stash I have to use it NOW!! :-D
    Have a great week,

  4. Hi Christine, I'm also another not buying paints till I use up what I have. I have a load of cheap acrylic paint in bottles, which rarely see the light of day, so Tim's DI ones will have to wait awhile!Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #5 xxx

  5. Hi Christine. It's so easy to be tempted by new stuff and I'm good at that but you are right we should use up what we've got or pass it on. Thanks for the visit to mine and I hope to pop back and see the painting you've done. Have a great woyww and happy crafting,

  6. Hope you share pics of those Steampunk ATCs. They sound like they'd be fun to make. I really liked the ATCs you made as shown in previous post.

  7. Am looking forward to seeing your pink and purple steampunk girls - you will show us won't you?
Funny but I think I have just become a brush fiend. I seem to have lots of brushes, rivalling my handbag collection without a doubt. Hope they don't have a sale near me - well, maybe I do ...
Thanks for visiting me earlier - have a good week.

  9. Hello Christine. Those prints are total stunning and can not wait to see you steampunk twist to them. I think that is all I have is cheap kids paints since and had them forever since my girls were little, my youngest just used them a few months ago and did a beautiful job water coloring for the first time.....so I figure not broke don't fix it....lol. Great snag on the brushes to. Have a wonderful week hugs ~Anne L#3

  12. Love the colour scheme, Christine, and I look forward to seeing the ATCs. New brushes are great - I bought some recently, and then we inherited all that great lot of art stuff, including loads of brushes (mostly unused) and I haven't had a chance to sort through it all properly yet!

Thanks for your lovely comment that made me laugh! Sorry to make you suffer so much at the sight of my cakes and biscuits! If you do decide to get some Infusions, I am sure you will really enjoy them. They are brilliant.

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  15. Now that is interesting…girlie steampunk…I think I could get into that. I have noticed I have to have color…the more the better…or I end up depressed. I love all the gears and steampunk stuff just not a lot of the grunge anymore! Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. It has been a while since I have posted anything much less participated in WOYWW! Kind a recluse of sorts. Vickie #43

  16. Have fun with the new brushes, and you don't need a lot of fancy watercolours if you have the basics you can make any color
