WOYWW #373

This is What'sOnYourWorkdeskWednesday - if you want to find out more then checkout the WOYWW tab at the top of the page - and our thanks go to Julia for hosting this weekly meet up.

Please excuse the lateness of my joining the party, it's been extra busy this week.... more birthdays .....meeting up with Darnell et al  (super time, short but so very sweet) ...... catching up with the Railway Garden .....excuses, excuses!!
So my desk has the remnants of the work being carried out BEFORE  the birthdays hit in!
I was making several ATCs for swaps and more importantly .... I was organised!!!  I had a list of designs, indicating which stamps to use ..... I managed to make two, although there are several on the left of my desk, only two are suitable (in my opinion).
Now I have moved onto using the film strip stamp ... I know what I want to do, I know how it is done...... when I do it .....hhmmm.  This one will not be used so I shall have to start again.
I only hope that I can spend most of my weekend playing.
Until then my friends, I shall be visiting and exclaiming!  Stay safe ......

  3. I know what you mean about getting distracted, Chris. I find once I've finished my domestic tasks etc., I'm often too tired to get in the studio! So glad you had fun with the meet-up. Your desk looks very interesting and you've got some unusual stamps there - love the film strip. Thanks for your lovely comment and I'm glad you enjoyed our garden pics! I'm amazed how well the sweet peas have done, having a second, even bigger flowering, despite being attacked by bugs! They make such a pretty display and I loe all the different colours. My hubby is thrilled with how well the garden has turned out after all his hard work. I'm hoping to spend some more time in the studio over the coming week and hopefully will soon have something to show everybody, after my friend's birthday!

    Happy WOYWW,

  5. Hi from Emmerdale - just down the road. Internet dodgy here - too many pensioners on ipads at the same time. Hope you are having a good time on the garden x Jackie

  7. I really like the ATC's you've made. I completely understand about getting sidetracked.

  8. I sympathise with the amazing idea in your head not translating into reality - that happens to me all the time. Especially with blooming quilting....grrrr....I have unpicked the material at least three times now! So glad you enjoyed your Darnell-time, isn't she a sweetie?! Btw, I thought how well you were looking in the photo :-D
