WOYWW #354

This is WOYWWednesday - if you want to find out more then checkout the tab at the top of the page - and our  special thanks go to Julia for hosting this weekly meet up.

My desk this week is just loaded with 'schtuff' as a fellow blogger would say.  I have received some double sided ATCs - top right - sorting out some silhouettes - lower right - and images for inspiration are in the centre.  Then I happened into Smith's so my magazine and some new pens were added.  Some time ago I went into an art shop to buy some pens, ones that wouldn't be affected by watercolouring over the images.  They were great pens, good to draw with, but when I eventually painted, the ink ran everywhere!!  Hopefully these pens will be good to go and if they are not ...... back to Smith's they go.

The above photo shows how I show off my desk each week but the true story is here ....
Looking at it through the camera lens I wonder what happened ..... I did tidy up .... really I did.  The workspace is much larger than it looks .... or so it seems but ..... the camera never lies and all that!!  lol

Thank you to all my visitors last week, loved all your comments.  I'm sorry I never managed to visit anyone last week, I have to fight with this computer to do anything and sometimes ..... I just don't have the mental energy to battle.  It can be so slow while it thinks about things, and has taken me an hour to get this far. I am sitting here typing in a small area because I have another screen over this one which I cannot remove.  I know that once I switch off and then back on again it will disappear but  ..... really it is too early in the day .....
Have a good week and I hope I can get round to visiting this week.

  1. Hi dear Christine,
I so know how crafty desks shrink like that. Love your atc and silhouettes too, plus magazine.
    Happy WOYWW!

  2. Lol, isn't it amazing how you notice things on your photo which you never do in real life?! It happens to me too...amazing how I can gloss over things I don't want to see!!
What a pain about those pens - hope you can resolve the situation somehow..as with the computer. Technology is brilliant...when it works, lol!

  3. Morning Christine, Love the magazine on your desk, you are going to have fun using that stamp, also love the Easter card, (I assume that is what it is) on the right hand side.
They say the camera never lies, but sometime gives a new perspective on thing that perhaps we'd rather not see. It all look fine to me, just go and play.
    Bless you

    Take care. God bless.

  9. I can so relate. Funny how we get used to what is on our desk until we see it through the camera lens! Sometimes I even see something I've been looking for!!
    Happy Creating to you!

  10. That's so funny! I am always shovelling various toddler items off my desk before I take my photo. If you could see beneath my desk you'd see a pile of brightly coloured toddler tat and on occasion the boy himself! Thanks for sharing! Happy crafting, Max #49 :-)

  14. Sorry to hear about your computer woes, Christine, and hope they can be resolved soon - it's a pain when we have to battle with our technology, isn't it. Also, I hope you find a use for the runny pens! Your creative space looks very busy. Thank you for your nice comment. We've already moved some stuff out of the sitting room and it is amazing what a difference that makes - and we haven't started decorating yet! This morning we went to Range and got some new cushions and they are a great improvement on the very sad and worn old ones. Little touches make a huge difference, don't they.

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  15. I have a small desk, but I think we all end up with the same size workspace no matter how large the desk is.
