Christmas Challenge 105

Yes!  I know!  I'm sad ........... just don't want a rush for next year ......... and anyhow ........... if I make too many (huh!!) I shall just donate them to Charity Crafter.  I have bookmarked this blog - Craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge - so that I can enter the challenges just to encourage me.

I am entering this card in Challenge 105.

All my Christmas 'stuff' is now tidied into two boxes - one for finished cards and one for embellishments - how good is that?  OK - so I had cleared them away but ...............

I fetched them out and opened the embellishment box, had a mooch, found a packet of Margaret Sherry Colour-ins - Nativity, and silver lurex (shiny with holly leaves embossed down each side) cards. That's it ......... Three Kings on doyley on card with sentiment - done deal!

Removed one of the sheets, sorted out my felt tip pens and coloured in the Three Kings - vibrant colours cos it's raining and miserable outside.............. I am not keen on these pens, they do not have the finish I was thinking of..............The doyley needed to be coloured as the white looked awful so I coloured the border in green and blue.  Looks odd...... and.......... the third King's cloak clashes with the 'sky' part of the doyley.  Darkened parts of the blue and centred it on the card.   Looks better I think..........

I turned the card landscape and added the Three Kings.  I found an appropriated sentiment from among my Peel Offs, attached this by using a 3D block to raise it above the card.

I have sorted out some inserts with verses and they are now in my Finished Card box with the cards ........... did you notice that is plural?  Well, I forgot to pop the neighbour's cards through their letterboxes so I have a start on next years cards ........... ho! hum!
